Initial Consultation & Vision Development: Working with the couple to understand their unique story, style, and vision to create a cohesive wedding concept.
Budget Management: Creating a master budget, tracking expenses, managing payment schedules, and advising on where to save or splurge.
Timeline Creation & Management: Developing a detailed planning checklist and a meticulous "day-of" production schedule/run of show for all vendors and the wedding party.
Guest Management: Handling guest lists, tracking RSVPs, managing meal selections, and coordinating guest logistics like hotel blocks and transportation.
Etiquette Advice: Providing guidance on wedding traditions, protocol, and tricky situations like seating chart dilemmas.
Unlimited Support: Offering ongoing advice and support via phone, email, and one-on-one meetings throughout the entire planning journey.
Design & Production
Venue Selection: Researching potential venues, accompanying couples on site visits, and negotiating contracts.
Event Design & Styling: Creating mood boards, floor plans, and comprehensive design plans, including guidance on color schemes, furniture, lighting, and decor.
Rental Management: Sourcing and managing orders for all necessary equipment and decor items (e.g., linens, tableware, tents, lighting).
Vendor Curation & Management
Vendor Sourcing: Recommending and securing all necessary suppliers (caterers, florists, photographers, entertainment, hair/makeup artists, etc.) from their trusted network.
Contract Negotiation & Review: Managing all vendor communications, reviewing contracts, and ensuring terms are favorable and understood.
Supplier Coordination: Acting as the primary liaison between all vendors to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding logistics, schedules, and the overall vision.
Tastings & Trials: Scheduling and often attending menu and cake tastings, as well as hair and makeup trials.
Wedding Day Execution
On-the-Day Coordination: Being the main point of contact on the wedding day to oversee the setup and entire flow of events, handling any issues that arise discreetly.
On-site Team: Arriving with an event support team to ensure seamless execution.
Cueing & Management: Coordinating the ceremony processional, music cues, speeches, and all key reception moments (first dance, cake cutting, grand exit).
Personal Assistance: Providing hands-on support for the couple, such as having an emergency kit on hand, steaming clothes, or gathering the wedding party for photos.
Post-Wedding Tasks: Overseeing the breakdown of the venue, ensuring gifts and personal items are safely returned to the couple, and handling final vendor follow-ups.

Partial Planning
Review of existing plans
Assess what has been accomplished and identify areas requiring support.
Vendor management for outstanding suppliers
Provides trusted recommendations and assists with sourcing, securing, and coordinating remaining vendors (e.g., specific entertainment, hair/makeup, or unique decor items). May also review contracts for existing vendors.
Timeline and logistics creation
A comprehensive wedding day schedule and production timeline are created to ensure a seamless flow of events.
Design and styling guidance
Assistance in refining the wedding vision, creating mood boards, and ensuring all aesthetic elements harmonize and are executed correctly.
Budget support
Advice on managing and maximizing the remaining budget effectively.
Communication hub
We become the main point of contact for all suppliers in the final weeks/months, confirming details, delivery times, and final payments.
On-the-day coordination
The Teller & Tale planner (and often assistants) will be present on the wedding day from start to finish to oversee setup, manage the schedule, handle any issues, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Administrative assistance
This might include help with tracking RSVPs, menu choices, and creating seating charts.
In essence, we help bring all the individual elements together into a cohesive, expertly managed event, allowing the couple to remain involved in the fun parts of the planning while relieving them of the complex logistical stress as the date approaches.

On The Day Coordination
Pre-Wedding Day Services
Initial Consultations: One or more meetings (in person or virtually) to discuss your plans, vision, and specific requirements for the day.
Vendor Management: Becoming the primary point of contact for all your booked suppliers (florists, caterers, DJ, photographer, etc.) in the final weeks leading up to the wedding.
Timeline Creation: Developing a comprehensive and detailed wedding day schedule/running order, which is then distributed to all vendors and the wedding party to ensure everyone is on the same page.
Contract Review: Reviewing vendor contracts to ensure all details and expectations are understood and to spot any potential issues.
Venue Walkthrough: Conducting a final site visit to the ceremony and reception venues to confirm layouts, logistics, and anticipate any potential issues or contingency plans (e.g., for bad weather).
Rehearsal Coordination: Directing the wedding rehearsal to ensure the wedding party knows where to be and when for the ceremony processional and recessional.
On the Wedding Day Services
On-site Management: Being the first to arrive and last to leave, overseeing the entire event from set-up to tear-down (sometimes with an assistant).
Vendor Oversight: Ensuring all vendors arrive on time, are set up correctly according to their contracts and your vision, and have everything they need.
Timeline Execution: Keeping the day running smoothly and on schedule, managing transitions between the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, and dancing.
Guest Assistance: Directing guests to find their seats, answering general questions, and ensuring they are comfortable.
Problem-Solving: Discreetly handling any last-minute issues or unexpected hiccups, so you don't have to.
Setup and Teardown: Overseeing the setup of personal decor items (e.g., place cards, favors, guest book, signage) and ensuring all items are packed away safely at the end of the night.
Payment/Gratuity Distribution: Distributing final payments or tips to vendors on your behalf at the appropriate time.
Bridal Party Cues: Ensuring the wedding party is in the right place at the right time and cueing musicians/DJs for key moments like the grand entrance, speeches, and first dance.
What is Not Typically Included
An on-the-day package is not a full service planning package. We typically do not handle initial planning tasks such as budget management, sourcing and booking vendors, attending multiple vendor meetings during the planning process, or designing the overall event aesthetic for this package.
